Motorcycle rider dies in crash near Royal Hill Drive

On May 8, at 5:14 p.m., officers of the Riverside Police Department responded to a major injury traffic collision involving a motorcycle traveling eastbound Alessandro Boulevard west of Royal Hill Drive.

A 1999 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling eastbound Alessandro Blvd. approaching Royal Hill Dr. when the rider lost control and struck the south curb of Alessandro Blvd. The motorcycle and rider continued eastbound striking a street light.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 30 year old male from Banning, was transported to Riverside Community Hospital where he pronounced deceased. There where no other vehicles involved.

Members of the Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) responded to the scene.
