williamknight.jpg William “Bill” Knight was born in Alameda, California on January 12, 1920 and passed away at home in Canyon Lake, California on January 18, 2010.

Professionally, Bill worked as a Research Chemist for 25 years. His passion was in racing vintage cars, especially Corvettes. He also enjoyed fly-fishing. Bill was a very intelligent man with a strong personality. His family and friends will miss his caring ways and sweet spirit.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Evelyn Knight; 3 children Geoffrey, Lindy, & Christina; 6 grandchildren Travis, Derek, Sabra, Bryanne, Kasey, & Mariah; 6 great-grandchildren Travis, Jr., LJ, Anya, KJ, Daniel, & Corrina; Sister Helen Clark; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends; and his parrot Galena.

A service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Canyon Lake Community Church.
