Janice Hahn declares candidacy for Lieutenant Governor of California

hahnimage11.jpgNames are emerging for California’s statewide political ballot. On December 31 Janice Hahn declared her candidacy for Lt. Governor of California.  Hahn currently serves on the Los Angeles City Council.

The seat is currently held by John Garamendi, former Insurance Commissioner for the state.

In and e-mail message to supporters Hahn wrote “I just officially launched my campaign for Lieutenant Governor of California. I’ve spent the past 3 months traveling up and down this state, talking to Californians about the issues that matter most to them, and I’ve heard – loud and clear – a call for change.”

To date, her campaign has raised $55,000.
