‘Parrott’ competes in local holiday contest

Located on the corner of Main and Sixth Streets, the first-year window display of Parrott is fun and whimsical. The retro pink Christmas tree is decorated with contrasting lime green ribbon and bows, and is complemented by shiny gift packages wrapped in similar colors.

To complete the retro-feel, owner Terry Elliott has also incorporated other vintage items into the display, including 2 party dresses, one of which is a 1920’s flapper-style dress with ornate crystal designs contrasting against the deep blue crepe.

Ms. Elliott personally disassembled the vintage dress and has redesigned it into a one-shoulder Greek Goddess style, resulting in an elegant yet vintage design, ready for the hippest holiday party.
