Employee at outlet store in Cabazon robbed

Cabazon news headline provided by the Riverside Sheriff’s Department:

On November 30, 2009, at 8:40 a.m. deputies from the Cabazon Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to the Desert Hills Factory Outlets located at 48650 Seminole Dr. on a reported robbery. Deputies learned that two male suspects walked up to a female employee leaving her business and demanded the store’s bank deposit.

Utilizing force or fear, the suspects grabbed the deposit containing an undisclosed amount of currency, checks, and receipts, from the employee. The suspects fled the scene in possibly a white Mazda minivan with a tan-colored stripe along the base of the vehicle.

Suspect Information

#1 was described as a black male adult, 5’10” tall, medium build, wearing jeans, white/black hooded sweatshirt, and a ski mask.
#2 was described as a black male adult, 5’11” tall, medium build, and wearing a ski mask.

Detectives from the Cabazon Station responded and assumed further investigation into the incident.
