Man found stabbed in crashed truck on Brockton Avenue

Riverside news headline from the Riverside Police Department:

On Friday, October 30, 2009, at approximately 3:45 p.m., the Riverside Police Department received a call of an unknown type traffic collision in the 5900 block of Brockton Avenue in the city of Riverside.

Officers discovered a truck parked on the grass to the front of 5955 Brockton Ave. Inside the truck was an adult male driver with significant stab wounds. Personnel from American Medical Response and Riverside City Fire Department responded to the scene. The driver was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Based on the preliminary investigation and statements obtained from witnesses, the driver of the vehicle, and the truck, were in the parking lot of 3790 Jurupa Avenue a few minutes before the reported accident on Brockton Ave.
