California fires kill 2 firefighters

Two firefighters - including one from San Bernardino County — were killed Sunday afternoon when their vehicle overturned as they fought the Station fire near Acton in northern Los Angeles County.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department identified the dead as Capt. Tedmund “Ted” Hall, 47, of San Bernardino County, a 26-year-veteran of the department; and Firefighter Specialist Arnaldo “Arnie” Quinones, 35, of Palmdale, who had been with LACFD for eight years.
