Jose Guadalupe “Prieto” Lopez, age 69, of Monrovia, entered eternal rest on Friday June 26, 2009.  Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

Prieto was the eldest of 6 children born to Jose Refugio Lopez and Maria Dolores Contreras. He worked for more than 30 years as a sheet metal worker in the Aerospace industry, much of that time on Apache helicopters.

He was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Monrovia.

He is survived by his daughter Maria “Lola” Gutierrez, his sons Jose Juan, Alfonso, Jaime and Gabriel Lopez, 3 grandchildren, Damaris, Christian and Deanna, a sister Cecilia and brother Genaro.

Prieto now joins his late beloved parents and brothers Jose Refugio, Antonio, and sister Columba in Eternity.

Funeral arrangements are pending. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Walker Family Funeral Services, Inc.
