Riverside’s Fox will open with Nederlander Organization shows

The following information has been provided by Nederlander:

Broadway in Riverside/A Nederlander Presentation, is delighted to announce its inaugural season of great theatre for the entire family at the Fox Performing Arts Center in the City of Riverside. The Nederlander Organization, has entered into a multi-year agreement with the Fox Performing Arts Center and its Operator/Manager, William P. Malone.

The Fox Performing Arts Center is scheduled to open in January of 2010.

Kicking off the National Touring shows in February, 2010 will be America’s most beloved musical “Annie.” It will be followed in March by the groundbreaking Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice masterpiece “Jesus Christ Superstar,” with its original star Ted Neeley recreating his unforgettable performance. And Riverside denizens will be dancing in the aisles in April with the deliriously tuneful, multiple Tony Award®-winner “HAIRSPRAY!”
