GAR Labs will become Riverside’s largest solar-powered factory

A massive Riverside factory will make the switch this summer; the $1 million solar system will generate electricity for a company that makes a product you use each day.

From the little things, such as using reusable shopping bags, to big things, such driving a hybrid, going green is huge.

On Saturday September 20th at 4:30 p.m. we are proud to present “Instant Inside: Going Green in the IE.” This is a first-ever TV special telling the Inland Empire’s green stories.

You’ll learn about several remarkable happenings here at home. What sort of rebates can homeowners receive by going solar? How much power can an average system make? What happens on a cloudy day, or at night? You’ll learn what to expect if you’re intrigued by the idea of going solar at
home.

We invite you to join us on TV at 4:30 p.m. April 20 on KVCR-TV, the PBS affiliate serving the Inland Empire. It’s available on all local cable systems, DirecTV, the Dish Network and via old-fashioned rabbit ears on Channel 24; if you have an HD antenna, it’s Channel 24.1.
